This institute is designed to inform early childhood leaders about the benefits of educating their families and staff on responsible money management, budget techniques, payday loans, the credit process, where to seek help if credit problems occur, and how to build savings and investments. This two-day institute will be held at National-Louis University's Wheeling Campus Annex from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day. Training fee is $100 before August 31, 2007 ($150 after August 31). Learn the potential of Microsoft® PowerPoint® for creating winning presentations and how to select a multimedia projector for your center. Become familiar with best practices for integrating technology into presentations. This full-day, interactive workshop will be held at National-Louis University's Lisle Campus in Room 850-317 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (A lunch break will be provided.) Participants will have access to follow-up technical assistance online. Funding is provided by the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS). Participant portion of the training cost is only $45. Enrollment is limited and priority will be given to administrators whose programs serve IDHS-funded children.
