Assessor Recertification PAS Assessor Certification is valid for two years and may be renewed through recertification. Recertification is also valid for two years and is available in two options. Option 1: Attend a refresher training, titled What's New with the PAS? This training is made available through a teleconference. Dates and times are listed below. Assessors must participate in the What's New with the PAS? teleconference within four months prior to their certification expiration date. The training includes updates to the PAS and Additional Notes. In addition, participants complete an assessment of learning to determine recertification status. The cost for this option is $125. To register, complete a PAS Assessor Recertification Application (PDF) and submit it with your $125 fee to the McCormick Tribune Center for Early Childhood Leadership. Option 2: Within four months of your certification expirations date, conduct two PAS assessments and send copies of the completed assessments along with the other required forms (download cover sheet for required forms) to the McCormick Tribune Center for Early Childhood Leadership. Within eight weeks you will receive feedback and a recertification decision. The cost for this option is $125. To sign up, complete a PAS Assessor Recertification Application (PDF) and submit it with your $125 fee to McCormick Tribune Center for Early Childhood Leadership. |
