Hi, Pat! Yes, I do remember you. So nice to be chatting again! I see no reason to provide evaluation sheets to interviewees (short of having them subpoenaed as part of litigation when they don't get the job!). Of course, nothing would prevent you as the employer from using them as a defense against a claim of discrimination in hiring -- just be prepared then to turn over ALL of the evaluation sheets on all applicants for the position. As for employee personnel files -- yes, each state has specific rules governing the circumstances under which employees can view/copy their personnel files. In Illinois, it's the Illinois Personnel Record Review Act -- you should be able to use the google search engine and get it online.
