HI, I'm Karen Brendemihl from West Allis, WI. I run a licensed family day care here, we're licensed for 8 and I currently have 6 children.My ? is what's the advantages/disadvantages/ differences between a LLC ( Limited Liability Corporation) and a sole propietership like me? Can I become a LLC and how. Is it expensive to do? I was at a tax workshop and he mentioned this topic but I can't remember much of what he said! I have no employees, just myself.
