Hello Cara! I have been following the discussion with great interest. I also have a question regarding the traditional probationary or introductory period of employment. Given Illinois' at-will status, what are the advantages of designating a period of time as probationary or introductory? Is a claim for unemployment compensation automatically denied if a person is terminated during this introductory period of time? Teri
