What is the law concerning termination, time frames concerning probationary periods, etc. Doesn't employers have to give employess a notice of what needs to be improved, time for working on improving performance, etc. before a person can be terminated. Doesn't the employer have to present evidence of not doing this? I have had several people I know that have been terminated without good reason, and without these things. Is it different in each state?
