The conference session that I found to be the most meaningful was Beyond Centers and Circle Time by Pam Phelps. I enjoyed this training because of the overall holistic and naturalistic approach taken to child development through the implementation of sand, water, dirt, etc . Children learn through play and messier the better! The curriculum, Beyond Centers and Circle Time, has many wonderful ideas, that have helped me to understand where I want my focus to be. I do hope to own my own center in the future, and this was the push that I needed to see what wonderful ideas are being implemented and how to expand.
