This was my first time attending the Leadership Conference. It was very nice. I met many different colleguaes in the field of early childhood. The workshop that was most meaningful to me was "Widening the Lens" by Linda Butkovich. This workshop open my eyes to see that decision making is very important in the position of a Administration. I learn about classroom quality, salaries & benefits, social systems, community involvement, new hire receive parent handbook, staff training, staff meetings, staff evaluation, interviewing Parents, parent meeting, transition from pre-k to kindergarten, and program administration scale book. My center is going through NAEYC accreditation and all of this information will enhance our program.
