Is Process Product?

I believe that process is the product. The way in which an "environment" reacts to a child's manipulation leands to the next reaction, and the next manipulation, etc. This goes on until the developmental level of the child has been fulfilled for this particular activity. When the child reaches the next developmental level, they begin the process again by recreating the first set of steps, sometimes in a modified version, and takes it to the next level until their developmental level has been reached again. This process goes on throughout life. The problem with this process is that adult seem to get in the way all the time with barriers.
