Hi Keith,

I’d like to welcome and thank you again for hosting this discussion sharing your experience and expertise with us this week.

My name is Tim Walker and I’m the director of technology here at the Center. Most of my experience in the classroom has been working with adults. The question you raise about “process” intrigues me. The biggest challenge I see with adult learners is getting them to think differently. Most seem set in their ways and have a “this is how I learn best” mentality. It’s hard to get them to grasp other methods to grow and retain knowledge. I also believe with adults that the product (or end result) is what’s important while the “process” of obtaining that result receives little attention.
