What does Process have to do with it?
Process is what helps children make meaning of what they are learning. It is connecting what you read or hear with your experience. Most important is the teacher's role in helping children make meaningful connections between new information and what they already know.
I believe it's important that as educators we encourage children to ask questions when they don't understand. Many children will ask Why? or How Come others do not. Children who do not seek to understand or process are at a disadvantage as learners.
