Keith,

This idea that a stimulus generates either a positive or negative emotion that leads to learning and effects the brain differently is so profound. In EC we know that children learn through play, but in elementary ed and older grades, It seems that learning is no longer fun. It involves drilling, memorizing and repeating information. I think back to my own education and I can remember the learning experiences that were fun, exciting and interesting.
