Helping children become more mindful and less distracted - first, just getting to know them and their learning styles is important, then making necessary adjustments to the environment so that it is not overly distracting and/or stimulating. Also, developing classroom management techniques that will encourage focus on tasks; providing a schedule that is predictable and allows time for movement, then back to tasks.
