It is my opinion and has been my experience that learning is a "process," but I don’t believe it is synonymous with “product.” "Product" implies completion, while learning or "process" is a series of steps. A person must go through a process to finish with a product.

I can understand the theory or implication that learning is the product because the process of learning will never end, but I think it’s just a play on words.
