I love your comments! How deep and insightful. I definitely, whole-heartedly agree with you on how we need to take a step back and just take our time. Like other adults, my fondest memories of childhood are of spending the whole day, playing outside and running around with my brothers and friends. We used our imaginations because we didn't have a lot. A tree and all it's branches could go from being a climbing tree, to a school bus with seats for everyone, to a kitchen, to a hide-out and safe place from the pretend people chasing us....

Do kids really get experiences like this anymore? Do mothers tell their kids to "go out and play," like my mother did?
