I think as adults we get stuck in how we deal with emotions (especially negative) and "handle" them the way we were taught even though going through school and trainings we are told that that isn't the way to do it. Time and time again I see some of my teachers be a little too harsh with a child who doesn't really understand what he did wrong. Instead of thinking of how to guide him, all they think about is punishment. Then the teacher and child get caught up in a circle and not much learning is taking place.

How do we train our teachers to deal with children's emotions differently - more positively in a way that will connect with them and create a difference?
