Our center follows a process when disciplining. 1) Verbal warning and reminders 2) A person to mentor them is assigned to help guide them 3) Write Ups 4) Is an "Action Plan" is put into place with the director and staff member. It has a few goals that need to be accomplished and a time line for them. It does state if these goals above are not met it is grounds for termination. Both the employee and director sign it. Luckily, so far all of the staff put on an actions plan have left because the goals are not easily met for them and they resign.
