Awesome! Thank you, Colleen, for your insightful assessment of why babysitting by your employees for your clients in unwise. You note so many of the "emotionally intelligent" (EQ) factors against allowing babysitting.

Does any of you work for Bright Horizons Family Solutions, or know someone who does?

If so, ask to see their parent and staff handbooks. I believe Bright Horizons has a clear policy forbiding this practice.

Does anyone of you have a written policy? Please post what you have or what you find.

Remind me to draft a possible policy for your consideration, if we don't find one already written.
