I agree with what you are stating. It is essential that everyone be on "the same page" which is why I have am having concerns when I have met with the coordinator of the Pre-K grant (in our area) and have discussed what is necessary in order to comply with what is expected. It is ironic, though, that you have pointed out that the qualifications of the administrator should have the IDC ll or the IDC lll. When I had brought this to the attention of the coordinator, it was made very clear that the IDC really has no part in this. This is why implementing a Pre-K in our area has been so confusing to my fellow directors and myself. Thank you for clearing this up. Hopefully we will be able to coordinate all of our expertise in Early Childhood and develop an enriching program.
