Nina,

I notice in your response that you stated knowing the child's temperament is also very important in learning. I could not agree more. In my programs we do a fomal assessment on all of the children in the program. We also ask the parents to do one as well. We then work as a team to come up with the best learning opportunties for the individual child.

We also incorporate multiple intelligences when planning classroom environments and curriculum. What are your thoughts on assessing the child's "intelligence type"?
