Kelly: A few times a year we will hold a Science Night or a Math Night. We set up activities so the parents can "play" with their children. We have a staff person at each activity station to explain the purpose of the acitivity and what the child is learning while playing with the parent. Getting the parents actively involved helps them to better understand that playing is actually work for preschoolers. Our attendance is great for these "Nights" and it is amazining how many fathers show up to participate.
