Hi, I know it is really an important issue how to make the parent understand that children learn through learning. Sometimes it is easy for the parents to get this concept when they visualize it and in order to do that invite the parents during daytime when the kids are engaged in their activities. Explain how the four cores content of curriculum are being used in your different learning center. As for example when the kids are playing in this block area they are learning about different shapes, different sizes, different weight etc. When they are playing in the dress up area they are improving their social skills, getting knowledge about the community when they are dressing up as a firefighter or a mailman. Hope that will help to make parent understand how playing is an important tools of learning.
