Katie,

I *love* the descriptions of what children are learning found in The Creative Curriculum. Even if you do not use The Creative Curriculum, the descriptions are valuable. Each center in your classroom is included and several areas of children's development are addressed. For example, The Creative Curriculum addresses social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development in the block area. Several points are made about what you might see a child doing in that area and what s/he is learning from this activity. It's really great. Check it out.

Loretta :)
