I have seen so many school cut recess time, I think Florida (I may be wrong about the state) has not recess time at all any more. I know in our area the only reason they let the children play outside is at lunch so the teachers can eat. We keep saying play is important and yet in schools we are cutting out one of the only times they can play outside and usually they have free choice in what they play. Again what we say is best and what we do are two different things. deb
