Nina You talked about educating parents about how children need to be curios to learn. We are always reminding parents of this. Sometimes we try to put small articles in our newsletter explaining this as well as having brochures around the center for them.

However the best way they have learned this is from watching how it happens. Many parents have observed their child in the classroom and see how the game they are playing will introduce their child to colors or letters. My 4 year old loves his teachers who are very hands-on and follow the "learning through play" philosophy. Not only is he learning so much he is enjoying his class more and more each day. He is a very curious and explorative child and it suits him well. Carmen Adams
