Head Start is for income eligible children ages 3-5 and their families. There is no mandated curriculum, other than you have to have one. Ours for example, uses High Scope, others use Creative Curriculum, Emergent Curriculum, etc. The most noticable difference for Head STart is that it serves the whole family. Parents have home visits where a specialist assist with resources, developing family goals, etc. Angel
