Hi Virginia,

I agree about being concerned about all the assessment we are focusing on as a society. While I think there are some good assessment tools (Work Sampling System for example) I think that an assessment tool is only as good as the assessor. Are we really training early childhood educators to be good assessors? I know I took assessment classes in graduate school but how many people are out there who will be required to use assessment tools that are not fully trained and supported. This is where my primary concern lies.
