I was assigned a mentor from Action for Children. This was an AFC requirement in order to receive grant funding for accreditation. The person assigned to me is a provider and is supposedly both accredited herself and an observer. I thought she would be tremendously helpful, but she wasn't. In fact she gave much incorrect info and didn't know the regs! WATCH OUT for who you believe.
