Without actually seeing the area, it's hard for me to say definitely that this will be acceptable. In general, this standard is referring to the area where the food is prepared. Do you use the kitchen sink to wash hands after diapering? If so, you need to be sure that you disinfect each time so that there is no contamination. I'd also suggest that if you continue to use this area you include a diagram of the room arrangement in your self-certification so that the Commission has a general picture of the area.
