Hi Dora -

A decision of deferral means that the NAFCC Accreditation Commission believes that a provider needs additional time in the self-study process to continue to make improvements. When a provider has been deferred she receives a letter from NAFCC with that decision. The letter also includes the information that the provider can re-enter the accreditation process 12 months from the date of the decision.
