Changes in Standards

I understand from the discussion that the standards have changed and/or are changing. If I begin the accreditation process under the set of standards that are effective Oct 1, 2005, am I held to the standards that are effective at the time of my registration? It seems reasonable that until the renewal process, you should be held to the standards that are enforce at the beginning of your process. At renewal, you would have to rise to meet the new standards to obtain the renewal. How does this work? Would those who were registered/enrolled under one set of standards be grandfather into working under those standards?
