Linda, I was just thinking about this. My families knew nothing about accreditation when I got started. I sent out several newsletters during the process to keep them abreast of my progress but they really showed no interest. They basically indicated that they didn't understand why I was bothering. I'm now in the process of interviewing to fill 2 spots and accreditation again seems to mean nothing. It is virtually unknown in the northwest suburbs. Maybe some day, but not today.
