What a great - though potentially difficult - question. Other providers who have worked either with the mentor herself or with Action for Children will probably be your best resource to know if your mentor is giving you good information. That's also one of the reasons that it's important for providers themselves to be very familiar with the standards and to be involved with other providers going through the process. Study groups can help think through what the standards mean and what it looks like when they are met.
