One of the beauties of family child care is that there are many right ways. There is no accreditation requirement for a particular set-up or way of arranging rooms, outdoor environments, or play areas. Providers all over the country adapt their environments in different ways - some use their whole house and some use a designated room. Some use a combination of both. All of those are right ways to do family child care and all of those programs are good candidates for accreditation.
