Is there a way to educate parents on what the accredidation is? Some families may not even know what it is, there fore it doesnt make a difference to them one way or the other. Just like with providers, some are licensed and some are not, parents know that the ones that are licensed have quidelines to follow and some parents need those providers for state assistance. I am not saying that unlicensed providers do not provide just as good or better care, but parents see the word licensed and it sticks with them. So to have them more aware of the accredidation and what it means may make a difference. Just my thougths!
