Thanks Marilyn. I am so glad to hear things are going well in your program and that the model is working for you. You also mentioned how supportive your program has been. We are focusing more and more on how to build supports within programs for teachers and others working directly with children. Training teachers is only the first step in addressing challenging behavior. Programs have to have systems of support in place to help teachers implement those practices. It sounds like your program is doing a good job supporting you!! We worked with a large Head Start Program in Kansas to implement the Teaching Pyramid Model program wide. There is a booklet describing that work on the following website: www.challengingbehavior.org. If you have a hard time finding it, let me know.
