Agressive Behavior

I have a son who is four years seven months old who can be very aggressive at times. There are some of his friends who he plays with very nicely and still there is one with whom he fights with on a constant basis. He is even downright rude to this child who is 4 years old and 2 months. My son has been heard saying "I don't like him. He can't come to my house", and other mean things. At other times they can play well but the bad times are really bad. This is very stressful as this child's mother is a very good friend of mine. Her son has slapped my child across his face on several occasions. As soon as they get together the problems begin. My son is not an innocent in this relationship but I don't like the way things are going here and would like to know if you have any suggestions.
