Five Year Olds Being Responsible and Helpful

The five year olds that I have in my classroom will be going off to kindergarten and I feel that they are so ready for the transition. They have grown in the past two years socially and emotionally. There are six children that will be leaving in two months and one week. These children are capable of compromising, working out solutions, mediating with other children and communicating their feelings in an appropriate manner. Modeling good behavior and talking things out will work.
