It's trus thet we can do as much as we can, but if the parent is not involved then it is not going to help the child or the program that is trying to get intervention for the child. It is sad when we are forced to dismiss a child fromt he program, but in the end if there is no parent involvement then we have no choice becuase we must provide a safe environment for the other children and teachers in the program. My question also is when does it become neglect and when should that neglect be reported?
