Coaching for Results This professional development experience is designed to increase participants’ knowledge and skills in supervision, leadership, and staff development. The training is customized to the needs of the sponsoring agency and the identified participants—lead teachers, education coordinators, or site directors. Cohorts usually comprise 20 to 25 participants. The training includes approximately 50 to 90 hours of instruction over a 10-month period. Upon successful completion participants receive 2 semester hours of graduate credit from National-Louis University (ECE545, Strategies for Coaching and Mentoring). A model of reflective supervision and individualized staff development is presented. To reinforce the concepts learned during training, participants do monthly field assignments relating to their specific job responsibilities and organizational context. Topics include:
